By default, this utility generates a single-line code compatible with Windchill’s Search functionality, based on the object list provided below.
The Windchill Search OneLine Generator processes each listed object name, transforming the list by adding the required characters (*;) between entries to create a search-ready code.
List of objects to search:
Insert models' names. The file description can be included (prt, asm, drw)
Result (click "Generate OneLine code" button to refresh and copy to clipboard)
Note: To search for multiple objects in Windchill, custom preferences must be set, as the Enable Index Search is set to No.
In the Windchill select: Quick Links > My Settings > Preferences
Search: Enable Index Search > Select RMB and set No > Confirm OK
